This is the nicest bike part that i can’t fit on my bars. The quality of the product itself is very good and it looks awesome. But there’s a design flaw – it can’t fit on 31.8 mm bars that don’t thin out. The front two pieces that you use to secure the bars have a maximum opening size of 30.8 mm. The only way to install is to put it on the thinner part of the bars and slide it towards the middle. Very inconvenient, but also excludes some handlebars that either don’t thin enough for this or are not perfectly round where thinner.
It’s really a shame because these look nice and are made of good quality aluminum, but this very unconventional design was not made clear in the product description. I’ve never seen anything like this on a stem before.
